After resigning my post at Dover Grammar School
for Boys after 26 years. I would just like to say that this part of
the web site is safe and will be continued to be updated by me.
I am not responsible for the official
school site.
At present I have been asked to teach Graphics
(unqualified status and Resistant Materials) at Archers Court.

I'm trying to locate the Clare
brothers who were variously at Dover Grammar School between 1962-71. I
believe that the two older brothers were previously at Farnborough
Grammar School before moving to Dover in 1962. I too was at Farnborough
(1957-65), and am keen to establish contact with John, the eldest of the
brothers. I would be very grateful if anyone could confirm my
information, and can put me in touch with any of the brothers.
Best regards,
Phil Fouracre

All paid members of the Old Pharosians
have been sent the current magazine and those who I did not received
confirmation of their membership status (from the last mailing) have
been sent a new membership form only. If you haven't received either as
yet, please look to see if you are one of the unknown members, or
whether indeed you have moved and not passed on your address. |

I should report the death on 24th September, 2008 of
Ray L. Fox, my brother-in-law. He was born in Dover in 1927 and was
one of the school's students that went to Ebbw Vale. After serving in
the RAF, he was a teacher and head in Primary schools in Kent. After
retirement, he moved to Lincolnshire. He was 81.
