Each year of the school is divided into forms. Each form has a Form Teacher who is in direct charge of the pastoral care of the form. The work of the Form Teachers is co-ordinated by the Heads of Key Stages, namely the Head of Upper School (Sixth Form), the Head of Middle School (Years 10 and 11), the Head of Lower School (Years 8 and 9) and the Head of Admissions and Year 7. The Form Teachers and Heads of Key Stages work closely together and parents can approach either for assistance over any concerns of any nature.
Each boy in the School is a member of one of the houses ‘Castle’, ‘Channel’, ‘Port’ and ‘Priory’. These exist to provide a connection between boys of different ages. They provide another opportunity for the older ones to experience leadership, especially in the sphere of competitive sport.
